2013 and the possibilities ahead
As you may know, this is the year 2013 (or 4711, 4710, and 4650 for Chinese people, depending on which scholar you base your calendar on) and, well, the myth of the 21st of December was debunked the same day, as I thought it would happen. It is a year full of possibilities, without any of the drags from the last year and many of the possibilities new beginnings bring.
I am personally excited for this year. It is a year that will bring along many positive changes in my life. Now that I am out of college, my job is finding a job first of all. A job in this economy is hard to find, but I know that with the proper research into it I can find a good job.
I also am looking into many projects. A friend of mine is starting a new organization called Awesome, and it’s an under-the-wraps project for now, but I’ll let you know how that turns out in a later post. Personally though, I plan on learn how to mix music, raise my Social Media perception, increase my contact base (quality contacts), start a novel, plant the seeds for a new enterprise, and run a marathon this year. This blog was also another one of my projects. This blog will contain commentaries on the issues that may arise this year in all fields, whether it be economics, business, politics, social stuff, or international news (I am originally from El Salvador and my mom’s from Mexico, so I’ll try to stick closer and be more informed about said countries and deliver commentaries for them, not just for my readers in the US).
I wish to thank everyone who has supported me and has actually motivated me to start writing for an audience. Carolina Navas with Carolmonroe.net, Cameron Gallucci, who is a student at UT Dallas, and countless other people have done this possible. Thank you for your support and all the best of luck to all in this 2013, may all of your projects come to realize fruitfully and that you may find happiness this year.
